Join Bob and his students in exploring the health benefits
of the Tai Ch'i Ch'uan short form (Cheng Man Ching's form)
and the Ba Duan Jin (8 pieces of Brocade) Chi Gung exercises.
TCC is a Chinese martial art that has been taught for health
and self defense purposes for centuries. The practice of
Tai chi' Ch'uan will improve your balance, leg and core strength, increase
the circulation, deepen the respiration, relax
and calm the spirit and inspire the spontaneous flow of Chi, the
universal life force Chinese medicine is based on.

Friday Nights at Richland Carrousel Park: Enjoy classic cars, free rides at Richland Carrousel Park and live entertainment. This event will take place on July 31 and August 7 and 28. The Friday night Cruise In will be held on Fourth Street between Main and Walnut in front of the Richland Carrousel Park. Registration for this event is free. DJ Mr. Ed will spin tunes on the lawn of the Carrousel and children under 12 can ride the wooden ponies for free from 5 until 8pm.

Carrousel District Farmer's Market is open!

The 2009 Carrousel District Farmer’s Market is open for business. The market will be held on Fourth Street, in front of Richland Carrousel Park between Main and Walnut every Friday from 9:00am until 2:00pm through October 2.

The Carrousel District Farmers’ Market gives growers and producers of agricultural commodities alternative marketing opportunities and promotes the sale of locally grown produce. The Market also provides an opportunity for farmers and people from urban communities to deal directly with each other, allowing consumers to better understand the benefits of purchasing quality locally grown or prepared food products.

The market will feature local produce and herbs, as well as handcrafted items created by local artisans. Vendor space is still available. The Ohio Directions Card will be accepted after June 17. For more information please contact
