(Four weeks,  $ 34.00)
Wednesdays, beginning August 13,

Ashtanga is an ancient form of yoga that begins with vigorous sun salutations to build the ujjayi (victorious) breath and to heat up the body so the practitioner may fluidly and mindfully move from pose to pose before ending with relaxation.  The traditional practice of the Primary Series takes 90 minutes to complete.  The Short Form, as presented by renowned yoga instructor David Swenson, utilizes the same concepts and most of the poses that are explored in the traditional class.  When pressed for time, the Short Form offers an efficient 60 minute practice that maintains the integrity of the Primary Series.
Intro to Ashtanga  (or instructor permission) is required.
